Overview
A Manufacturing Execution System for textile manufacturing: shop-floor terminal (RFID + printer) plus admin for work orders, attendance, and warehouse. One product, two surfaces.
Challenge
Orders larger than a day’s capacity, multiple operations and hands per piece. Paper and spreadsheets lost who did what. Norms and incentives were hard to prove. Warehouse and floor were not in one system.
Approach
A shop-floor terminal for fast operation entry on sub-orders (badge → operation → quantity → ticket on the piece). Admin: work orders and sub-orders, products and routing, reports, norms and incentives, shifts and absences, warehouse (material in, finished out, order per customer).
Outcome
A digital trail per piece, operation, and worker. Faster floor entry. Sub-orders when volume exceeds a day. Incentives on real output. Warehouse next to production. In production.
